On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I wrote to Comenity Bank about a hard squire on my XXXX report that was inaccurate. I never have anyone permission to pull my credit. On XX/XX/XXXX I wrote XXXX and they advised me to contact Comenity bank I called Comenity bank they advise me to contact XXXX!! This is not good they have me going back and fourth and the matter still isnt resolved.. I spoke with a supervisor from Comenity Bank and he said he doesnt see any info pertaining to this matter. I want this inquiry removed immediately. Im not getting proper assistance thank you

Full Complaint:
On XX/XX/21 Comenity Bank closed my Credit Card that was in perfect standing. They cited ‘inactivity and/or information ‘ in my credit report for cause. I had made several purchases over a week before on XX/XX/21. As far as my credit report there was nothing negative about my score or report that should lead to an account being terminated. In fact my credit score and history overall greatly improved since I obtained the Comentiy Card originally. Comenity essentially made a ‘mistake ‘ and thought my account was inactive so they cleared the books before verifying the account was indeed not being used. This all occurred while I was actively shopping for a mortgage which impacted my score due to the closed account, loss of available credit, and as a result of the closure I was forced to pay my balance in full to avoid having a balance with XXXX available which would further damage my score. I brought this to the attention of Comenity on XX/XX/21 and was told nothing could be done but I could write a letter disputing the actions. I wrote a letter of dispute and was again told nothing could be done and they again reference inactivity and/or information in your credit report. I was unfairly targeted because of the incorrect status of ‘inactive ‘ and otherwise my credit report would not have been reviewed, nor would the account have been touched.

I have 2 late payments on my account because I attempted to pay it online repeatedly a few times and I kept getting kicked off the site because of technical issues. I trusted that the problem was fixed the following month but it appears it wasn’t. By the time I had time to make the payment the payment was late even though I emailed the company to assist me. They also never called or sent me a bill in the mail so I had no other way of paying it. I have tried repeatedly to have the company remove the late pay history since its effecting my score and wasnt really my fault its just a difficult website. I have also contacted the credit bureaus but have not gotten the results i had hoped for there either. Please assist me in helping get this removed as it was not my fault. Thanks

I see multiple 30-60 days late marks which is a clear violation of my right under the FCRA. The company has never responded to any of my attempts to obtain any proof or documentation that will prove this account is being reported accurately.

The account with COMENITYBANK/XXXX account number beginning in # XXXX with a balance of {00.00} is currently showing up on my XXXX Credit. I have notified both parties COMENITYBANK/XXXX as wells as XXXX and explain to them that i have no association with this account. When i spoke with XXXX i was told that the account is connected to a name and address that i have no association with.

My Correct name and address is listed below. : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, WI XXXX This inaccurate account is hindering me from employment as well as housing so I am requesting that Comenity Bank remove this account from my experian credit report being that i have no association with it. I am also requesting that comenity bank send me documentation so that i can forward to my attorney just incase i would have to escalate this serious matter.
