I made a payment in full in the amount of {00.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and American Express mailed me a letter on stating that agreement has been met.

I was shocked to receive a Cancellation of Debt letter from American Express Company mailed to the week ending XX/XX/XXXX. In the letter it shows that after 30 days after we entered into a contract on XX/XX/XXXX they breached our contractual agreement and issued me a Cancellation of debt notice in the amount of {00.00}. American Express has breached our agreement for a total amount of {00.00}. This has not only imposed a monetary damage on me but it has also impacted my credit standing. This account was set up to receive donations direct deposit for a fundraiser to raise money for XXXX treatments. On XX/XX/2020 at XXXX am this card received the first deposit of {00.00} was accepted by Bluebird by American Express into the account, at XXXX am the same morning I received an email from Bluebird saying that I had violated their member services agreement and the account was permanently suspended. There were no details of how I possibly violated the agreement. I called the customer service number and got an automated message saying that the account was permanently suspended and an email was sent with details and then the call hung up. I called from a phone not associated with the account and after several minutes of choosing options from their automated system, I chose to report a stolen card and was able to speak with a person. They refused to give any details and told me that I would need to have the issuing institution request a reversal to retrieve the funds that had been deposited. I did that and Bluebird denied the reversal. I called again today, XX/XX/2020 and told them that the reversal was denied and I needed to know what to do the retrieve the {00.00} that had been deposited to the account. They refused to return the funds. We have the entire call recorded and will be happy to provide it. These funds were donations from friends and family to help pay for XXXX treatments and medical costs. I feel that Bluebird by American Express has stolen these funds.
