Hello – I am filing complaint against American Express for not issuing check on time for the positive amount on my account. I filed the request on XX/XX/17. When contact, they just keep creating new cases with 7 day response time.

American Express is refusing to remove an unauthorized transaction on my account. I am being charged {0.00} for merchandise I did not authorize. The merchant made an error during an order process and took money from me for something I did not want.
I contacted American Express and the still have not resolved the matter. They are forcing me to pay. The merchant sent me the merchandise and is not reachable to schedule a pickup. Merchandise is very large and has been taking up a lot of space in my living room inside the original box I never opened.

I been with American Express sence XXXX. America express has Destroyed my credit. By the COVID 19 program.. I enter in there program so I could catch up on my business loan. So I could pay down some bills … they said they would consolidate all my payments into one payment for {0.00}. They said it will report to the credit bureau ‘s as paid as agreed.This was a lie it’s not true they report to the credit bureau ‘s as Partial payment. The credit bureaus perceives partial payment as late payment they gave me 30 day late and 70 late payment … this is not true I payed my bills on time and never pay late … American express drop my credit score from XXXX. To XXXX, that’s not right and not fair I never been late paying my bills on time.

As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I received a call from XXXX five days ago. ” American Express XXXX XXXX ” has continued to call from this number. Interestingly, this number also comes up as XXXX XXXX. They have failed to provide a letter discussing why they are calling as required by law. This has been an ongoing issue with this company. This is also a violation of federal law, which requires written notice within five days that includes creditor, amount, rights, etc. The letter received does not disclose that ” this is an attempt to collect a debt ” and not provide the required notice within five days. This company should be prevented from conducting any additional calls as this is now being harassment.
