UPromise XXXX serviced by Barclaycards : The telephone access system requires a SSN and zip code to be entered via keypad in order to access account information, including transactions and payments. No pin is required. My ex-husband knows my SSN and zip code and was able to access my account information each month. Company Official Name: BARCLAYS BANK DELAWARE

State: AZ

Product: Credit card

Issue: Balance transfer

Full Complaint:
I have XXXX credit card accounts with Barclay Bank : XXXX Rewards and Juniper. On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a request for XXXX balance transfers to my Juniper credit card in the amount of {0.00} and {00.00} because I am supposed to have 0 % interest until XX/XX/XXXX. However, the balance transfer was process with my XXXX Rewards Account instead of the Juniper account. I believe this was done intentionally as my XXXX Rewards account only has 0 % interest until XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted customer services and requested they fix the issue and process the balance transfers with the Juniper account as previously requested, but they are claiming there is nothing they can do. This is FRAUD. I did not authorize those balance transfers to my XXXX Rewards account. I do not understand how this is legal and okay. I am sick and tired of these banks trying to find ways of ripping of the consumers who keep them employed.

Issue: Billing disputes

Full Complaint:
After XXXX refused to fix, replace or refund charges they made to my Barclaycard XXXX for some unusable equipment and service that could never happen, I called XXXX to try to open a dispute. On XXXX/XXXX/2015 at XXXX, XXXX , Employee ID : XXXX, took my complaint and said she would be back with a case number. When she returned, instead of giving me a case number, she conferenced XXXX of XXXX on the line. A little way into XXXX and my argument, I realized XXXX had already hung up the phone. I hung up and called Barclaycard back, and XXXX, Employee ID : XXXX tried to get XXXX on the line again. I told XXXX, just like I had told XXXX, that all my attempts to talk and email some sense into XXXX had failed, because all they do is take money. I told XXXX to just open a dispute like other credit card companies do, but she refused. She said all the supervisors were too busy to talk to me. She said I would have to cancel my card to stop XXXX ‘s monthly billings for nothing. I called back and XXXX, Employee ID : XXXX cancelled my card for me. I explained to him that I would never pay them for the XXXX charges.

Full Complaint:
In XXXX I had a hardship. I noticed that no matter how much I paid on my Juniper ( Barclay ‘s Bank ) credit card the balance never came down. I was at 12.99 APR. I thought this odd since all my other cc were higher interest and the balance was reflecting my payments. So I called and asked for forbearance and also inquired about the balance and payments received. I was told that they could help by bring my interest down on new purchases for one year. As far as my balance they said I needed to pay more than the minimum which I did more often than not. After the phone call the closed my account. I made XXXX or XXXX payments and noticed no change in the balance and decided to stop payment on the Juniper cc and make payments on cc ‘s that were showing a positive result towards my balance. This was XXXX, up to this date I had paid nearly XXXX on a XXXX balance. They also locked me out of my online account to where I could not retrieve any information. Fast forward to XXXX. I have been receiving harassing phone calls from Juniper since XXXX asking for payment. I have sent letters, and have asked them to stop calling as I am not financially obligated to this account anymore. In XXXX XXXX the account was sold to a collection agency who told me that I had until XXXX XXXX to pay the settlement amount of XXXX or they will bring a judgement against me. I looked into my credit on both XXXX XXXX and XXXX and both show that Barclay Bank state that I continued to make payments up to XXXX of XXXX which is not only a lie but fraud. I have bank statements to prove otherwise. I was without employment. I was a student at the time, and refused to pay Barclay Bank due to their unfair practices back in XXXX. And since in XXXX I was the only one who was employed would be the reason for my asking for forbearance. Barclay Bank fraudulently added time and payments to my account so that they could continue to pursue, harass and ultimately sue me.
I have disputed this with XXXX XXXX online, but will need to call XXXX to dispute.
