I disputed this {0.00} charge of XXXX XXXX XXXX in the month of XXXX, and in the month of XXXX it was reapplied citing that after XXXX months investigation I will get a permanent credit. I did try to contact XXXX XXXX at XXXX, PIN NO. XXXX, but everytime I call him/her, it goes on voicemail. She was the one from whom I received the letter on CFPB and she is not standing by her words.

They also indicated that they contacted me letting me know that my request had been declined, however this never took place.

I’m beginning to realize the CFPB is of no real help.
Capital One continues to lie to you, and you accept it and close the complaint down.
This time they actually added stuff about some sort of veterans information needed and my active duty status.
I was in the XXXX XXXX, two years XXXX and 4 years inactive, back in the early 1970 ‘s.
I have perfect credit. They are just descriminating against me because of my age.
because I can’t figure out any legitmate reason for their actions.
I found out that XXXX XXXX XXXX has the same product. I went to the local branch and they approved me 10 minutes.
This has dragged out for months now. It’s a shame how Capital One is making you look pretty foolish.
You asked if I was a veteran. All of a sudden they put in on my credit application as if I wanted it to be considered. I never wanted it to be considered.
