Full Complaint:
The payment process from Kohl ‘s is very shady. I have had an account with Kohl ‘s for over 10 years and never had a problem with payment. My account is paid by Autopay and was just recently informed that you have to update your autopay account with they every few months or they will not pull the payment. This is a very shady practice since ” no company ” with autopay makes you update your bank account information. I also have not been receiving my account statements so I was not aware of the issue until I was almost 60 days late and then they called me to tell me they were putting me into collections unless I paid the balance. The bank account that I use to pay this account is one of several accounts so I did not think to check it to verify since I thought they would just remove the payment. This is a very shady practice to not only collect late fees but also interest. I paid the full amount and they credited my account for the late fees but not the interest and also added a 30 day late to my credit report. When I requested that they remove the delinquency from my credit report they told me that the info is correct and they will not be clearing it.
I am not the only one that has had this issue. My XXXX also said that she was charged a late fee and called about non payment as well and I am sure that many others have had the same thing happen. I think this needs to be investigated.
Also want to mention that when the rep called me to make payment he used my bank account on file to pay off the amount owed. If they have that information why didn’t they just pull the funds and not cause me to have a late payment and also ding my credit report. ( Seems to me this is a way for them to collect additional fees and interest )

Spoke with Capital One Walmart credit card about Covid19 Disaster and they put me under the program not to report me late for XX/XX/2020 and to waive the monthly payment. I just received credit report and they reported me 30 day late. I called back in around XX/XX/XXXX and they could not help me or transfer me to the department to work this out.

I the Capital One customer team about using some of my personal line of credit to open a business line of credit. They told me to send a letter to the Capital One Customer Care Team at XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX. They fraudulently reduced my credit limit without my permission saying that I gave them permission. I would like them to open my business account as they promised.

– I sent my letter credit transfer request XX/XX/2020 – I received credit limit decrease on XX/XX/2020 – I called into Capital One on XX/XX/2020 and spoke with XXXX to have her correct the issue. She then connected me to her supervisor, XXXX who said he was unable to help.

In a letter dated XX/XX/20, I reported to Capital One that XXXX XXXX based in XXXX, XXXX failed to deliver part of services I contracted with them on XX/XX/20 with payment of {00.00} using my Capital One VISA credit card. The contracted tour started XX/XX/20 and should have ended XX/XX/20. However, XXXX XXXX unilaterally canceled tour starting Day 11. In my letter of XX/XX/20, I asked Capital One for a refund of {00.00} providing them information that backed up my request. Capital One agreed and posted adjustment on XX/XX/20. However, Capital One re-billed me {00.00} with their letter dated XX/XX/20 stating that XXXX XXXX provided Capital One information to support the transaction. I expressed disagreement with this conclusion in a fax dated XX/XX/20 which I repeated in a call I initiated on XX/XX/20. One invoice XXXX XXXX provided Capital One was for a XXXX XXXX Tour between XX/XX/20 and XX/XX/20, which clearly did not occur because I took a XXXX XXXX flight out of XXXX XX/XX/20 using the same Capital One credit card. For all the other activities on dates I disputed, XXXX XXXX did not submit any invoice. Yet, Capital One maintains that I was not able to meet the technicalities of proof that VISA requires of them. Clearly, I can not provide proof for negative events.
