On XX/XX/2021 I made a purchase for a pair of shoes to attend a funeral out of state. Waiting XXXX days would mean that I would be late on the payment to my account and that I would have to pay for a service that I never received. I asked to speak to a supervisor was placed on hold for XXXX minutes and when returned to a live agent again was told not to worry, though this is my credit history and credit reporting we are talking about. I asked why it was taking so long and why I had to go through so much work to get my refund when it wasn't done correctly to begin with. They didn't seem to care. So now I have the payment scheduled for the due date so that I do not get a late fee or a hit to my credit report. All I am asking is that a consumer not have to wait XXXX days for a refund on a store credit card when they control the system. I feel as if they are being deceptive in business practices and forcing consumers to pay unjust late fees or to just pay a fee to make money off of them.

I have sent my identity theft report that was filed with the Federal Trade Commission and I have sent a copy of my police report to the credit bureaus. As the law indicates, the credit bureau shall take action to block and remove this fraudulent account from my credit report. There has been a multiple attempts of identity theft against me. Identity thieves used my personal information for their own benefit in order to obtain services with false pretenses. I mentioned the fraudulent account in my identity theft report and I will mention it here as well. The fraudulent account is CAPITAL ONE BANK XXXX XXXX and the partial account number that I was able to obtain is XXXX. Once I was informed of this fraudulent activity, I immediately placed a fraud alert with all the bureaus in order to prevent further fraudulent activities. Additionally, I requested from all the bureaus to remove the fraudulent accounts and inquiries that were placed on my credit report without my consent because the said account never belonged to me. I never associated with Capital One Bank before and as mentioned the account does not belong to me. I requested the account to be removed not just a simple dispute to be placed on a file that will eventually be useless. The consumer voice is important as well because the said financial institution used my personal information to open a fraudulent account to an identity thief. The credit bureau request an identity theft report filed with the Federal Trade Commission, and I was able to provide it. The credit bureau asked for a police report, I was able to provide it. Simply, I was able to provide all the necessary documentation requested by the credit bureaus in order to have this fraudulent tradeline removed from my report and yet nothing has taken place.

On XX/XX/XXXX I attempted to pay a doctor bill.The bill totaled {0.00}. I could not pay the bill because I did not have an ID? for the bill. When I could not pay on the internet I tried again and something called XXXX a medical billing co. came on my computer a indicated that XXXX would pay the bill. OK I put all the billing info into XXXX and thought it was over.
I heard from the doctor service again and the bill had not been paid. I asked if the billing service had head from XXXX they said never heard of it and never got money from XXXX.
So I asked Capital one bank Walmart credit card to stop payment to XXXX Capitol one Walmart credit card stopped payment.
On XX/XX/XXXX Capital one Walmart credit card put the XXXX bill {0.00} back on my card. I have talked to the capital One bank several tines and they won't take the XXXX bill off the credit card account.
I simply want that XXXX charge off my cred-card. The bill has gone to collections and I want to pay the bill. XXXX is lying that XXXX talked to the doctor service. If XXXX had talked to the doctor billing service why did my doctor XXXX go to collections? And Why did the lady at the billing office say she never heard of XXXX?

I recently obtained a copy of my credit report and was appalled at the information that was on my consumer report. I noticed that there are a few violations on my report.

The first one I noticed is what was is supposed to be Excluded on my report according to federal law 15 U.S.C. 1681a specifically states that any approval of extension of credit directly or indirectly by the issuer of a credit card or similar device shall be excluded from my consumer report.

I believe Capital One is in direct violation of this statue code.

The second violation I found is under the Truth in Lending Act.

15 U.S.C. 1666B ( a ) states that A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose I believe Capital One is in Direct violation of this statue code.
