Due to Covid I was laid off and became behind on my bills. I contacted Capital One to offer them a settlement because I wanted to pay them and move on. They rejected my offer. They informed me that they could not put it in writing nor could they inform me of why the decision was made. Fast Forward, they offer me a Hardship Program where they reduced the APR and payment for 9 months. I accepted the program and have made over the payments due. This hardship ends in XXXX. I contacted Capital One yesterday to offer a settlement of 50 % of the balance because I received my tax return and I was going to just pay them everything I had to be done with the account. I was told on the phone that my offer was accepted and that someone would be contacting me with the details on how to proceed with payment. I received a call today from a Capital One employee name XXXX empolyee # XXXX. She stated I was declined and I proceeded to request a explanation because I was informed yesterday it was excepted. She stated they do not give an explanation nor will they put this in writing. I asked that they review the call because this was not acceptable. She stated that she reviewed my history and I was rejected before and moving forward to write them if I wanted further assistance. Once again they rejected my offer and refused to provide any details and stated they could not document my offer or declination in a writing. I have been making all my payments for the past 7 months and I just want to pay them out and move on because they service and transparency is unacceptable. This is not how a company should operate especially with a customer that is trying and not ignoring their obligations. It seems they want to ruin your credit. I just really need this matter looked into because this should not go undocumented. Consumers have rights especially when they want to work with the creditors. I will never bank with nor secure anything from Capital One

Hi and how are you doing? Im not sure who to take this to anymore, but Ive disputed this account several times with both the original creditor and the credit reporting agencies accordingly and Ive attached everything to support my dispute. However, I continue to receive a pre-template letter sent to me that its been verified and it REMAINS. How is it possible that this was verified if you continue to report incomplete, inconsistent, inaccurate, and unverifiable information on this account and a thorough and in-dept investigation? Ive disputed and I havent received anything as such, but it continues to be reported in violation of the consumer laws.

Continues to report wrong balance, incorrect date of first delinquency, wrong date of last active, inconsistent payment status, high balance and actual balance is questionable, etc. I believe that section 609 of FCRA also allows me to ask for detail information about the account and how you indeed investigated and your detail process. Im extremely upset and shocked about the way this charge-off account is reporting on my credit report which continues to report with incomplete, inconsistent and unverifiable Info. How can you honestly say that you verified as it being accurate? This was NOT verified! I am requesting this investigation under the authorization of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 623. ( a ) ( 8 ) ability of consumer to dispute information directly with the furnisher.

During covid I went through months of low sales at my restaurant XXXX XXXX XXXX. Its not my fault that the government shut down our eating area and restricted our hours for over a year. I have been charged 5 overdraft fees in the past month. My sales are back up but now I’m trying to pay bills from when the sales were low. In my opinion charging a person XXXX dollars for not having enough money in their account should be illegal. Because of all these overdraft charges im going to get another on this week after payroll because I need that money to get back on my feet. I need these fees reversed. Today I received an email stating that I owed {.00}. When I called Capital One, I was ultimately told that they would not remove the balance because it was " interest. '' When I asked why my balance went from {{{mpg_replace}}.00}, to {.00}, when I had made no charges on the card, they said it was " daily interest '' and it would NOT be removed.

When a statement is sent out to a customer, and paid in full, it's unfair and not right that additional interest is charged. I know it's only {.00}, and it's not the money, it's the principle of the matter. I took my time to call in, and was treated very unfairly. I've been a Capital One customer for a number of years and DO NOT appreciate the way I was treated on the telephone. I want the charges reversed for this alleged " interest. ''

Hi and how are you doing? Im not sure who to take this to anymore, but Ive disputed this account several times with both the original creditor and the credit reporting agencies accordingly and Ive attached everything to support my dispute. However, I continue to receive a pre-template letter sent to me that its been verified and it REMAINS. How is it possible that this was verified if you continue to report incomplete, inconsistent, inaccurate, and unverifiable information on this account and a thorough and in-dept investigation? Ive disputed and I havent received anything as such, but it continues to be reported in violation of the consumer laws.

Continues to report wrong balance, incorrect date of first delinquency, wrong date of last active, inconsistent payment status, high balance and actual balance is questionable, etc. I believe that section 609 of FCRA also allows me to ask for detail information about the account and how you indeed investigated and your detail process. Im extremely upset and shocked about the way this charge-off account is reporting on my credit report which continues to report with incomplete, inconsistent and unverifiable Info. How can you honestly say that you verified as it being accurate? This was NOT verified! I am requesting this investigation under the authorization of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 623. ( a ) ( 8 ) ability of consumer to dispute information directly with the furnisher.

What I am disputing : The account you have reported to the three credit bureaus. My basis for this dispute is that I have no knowledge of this account.

During covid I went through months of low sales at my restaurant XXXX XXXX XXXX. Its not my fault that the government shut down our eating area and restricted our hours for over a year. I have been charged 5 overdraft fees in the past month. My sales are back up but now I'm trying to pay bills from when the sales were low. In my opinion charging a person XXXX dollars for not having enough money in their account should be illegal. Because of all these overdraft charges im going to get another on this week after payroll because I need that money to get back on my feet. I need these fees reversed. I also sent a complaint to capital one and they have not responded. They promised me they would respond.

My Capital One credit card was paid off on XX/XX/2021. When I checked my balance, after it was paid, it showed a {{{mpg_replace}}.00}, balance with {{{mpg_replace}}.00}, due.

Today I received an email stating that I owed {.00}. When I called Capital One, I was ultimately told that they would not remove the balance because it was " interest. '' When I asked why my balance went from {{{mpg_replace}}.00}, to {.00}, when I had made no charges on the card, they said it was " daily interest '' and it would NOT be removed.

When a statement is sent out to a customer, and paid in full, it's unfair and not right that additional interest is charged. I know it's only {.00}, and it's not the money, it's the principle of the matter. I took my time to call in, and was treated very unfairly. I've been a Capital One customer for a number of years and DO NOT appreciate the way I was treated on the telephone. I want the charges reversed for this alleged " interest. ''
