Full Complaint:
On XX/XX/2019 I went to Chase Bank in XXXX XXXX, IN to make a deposit into my checking account I was told they couldn’t access my account because it was restricted, the teller ask if I wanted to speak with the fraud department because she couldn’t give me any information or a reason my account were restricted. I called the fraud department spoke with an agent gave him the required information in turn he told me that my account had been closed and chase no longer would do business with me he couldn’t tell me anything about it. I was devastated because this happen without any notice or reason. They told me I didn’t have access to online banking or anything, I had ACH deposit that were supposed to have been deposited on XX/XX/XXXX, which didn’t happen. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from chase stating they had closed my account and if I had any question to contact them. This is my personal account which I have had for several years and I have a mortgage through them, I feel if they don’t wont to do business with me then they should eliminate the balance of my mortgage. I was a signer on my church account which I closed out, I took all the required documents to the branch in XXXX XXXX, IN, the account were supposed to have been closed but the banker didn’t do their job which caused this chain reaction. On XX/XX/2019, I am the current secretary of the church : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I accepted the cashier ‘s check in the amount of {000.00} made out to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/2019 I got a call from Chase representative XXXX XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX , IN stating that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , saving account were overdrawn in the amount of {000.00}, I asked her how could that be, when the check have not been cashed, she replied that the deposit that were made into the saving account of {000.00} a stop payment had been made and the check didn’t clear therefore the check they had written the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , were overpaid and to bring the check in to get the matter taken care of, I and the treasurer of XXXX returned the cashier check to balance out the account, the bank reissued another cashier ‘s check for the difference, XXXX said it was settle. The fraud department had contacted the previous pastor who no longer hold a position at XXXX and his wife, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX they had been abusing the church account and change the secretary of state online to XXXX XXXX secretary and XXXX XXXX registered agent they also told the fraud department that I was impersonating the church secretary and I had embezzler the money which were not true. Chase didn’t contact me or the church to get the correct information. I know this is the reason Chase closed my personal account which didn’t have anything to do with the church account. I tried to reach out to the banker who supposed to have closed church account she didn’t return any of my calls, XXXX XXXX XXXX said they wouldn’t give out any information to the former pastor, XXXX XXXX that were not true she supposed to have contacted the fraud department informing them of the illegal activities he was doing. She had copies of the church business minutes and letter from the church attorney, chase employee were negligent in this case and caused be pain, suffering and humiliation.
