Paid {00.00} on a Citi card to pay it off because they said they would keep the line of credit open if I paid it off. It was in my husband ‘s name, not mine. Although, I knew I was not responsible to a point, I knew it would hurt my credit and he was going to be out of work for awhile and we needed to keep the line of credit. So, we borrowed the full amount and I made the payment in full. They processed the payment to his bank where the money was not and they knew to process the payment to the primary bank account which was mine. They said since the actual payment did not post in the right amount of time they had to close the account. So not only did we not have the money for his treatment, this is wrong. They made a mistake and they know it. Now also, my account has been removed from the credit account because they know they messed up. Citi bank is corrupt. I have all faxes and print outs. I would print everything on everyday. So I have all documentation.
Please assist.

I had an ” interest free ” deal with Home Depot to have a new roof installed. Total cost {000.00}. I was down to a balance of {00.00} and was continuing to pay the minimum each month as well as interim principal payments. On my XXXX statement I see that HD billed me {00.00} in deferred interest since the complete loan as not paid by the end of XXXX. In essence, I was billed {00.00} on a balance of {00.00}. I call customer service and they claim ” this was clear ” in my monthly statement. My understanding from HD salesperson was loan was interest free through XXXX of 2015. Never made clear that if there was {.00} of principal outstanding HD would go back and retroactively apply 22 % interest. This is outrageous and abusive. I am XXXX years old and feel that I have been taken advantage of by this huge corporation. Help please

Issue: Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement

I had a fraudulent charge on my account. After declaring it as fraud the card was closed and I was told I would have a new card in 5-7 days. After 10 days I contacted them again and they assured me the card was on the way. After another 8 days I called and they told me the account was closed and no card was issued. The only way to get a new card was to open a new account and go through the process. After agreeing to leave it closed I asked about the fraudulent charge still on the account balance and I had to go through the process again of declaring it fraud as if it had never happened before. Very disappointing after having the card for over 8 years.

On XXXX XXXX, 2015 I ordered several clothing items on XXXX under order number : XXXX. I only received some of the items ordered and when I called to inquire about the XXXX items that were missing, I was informed that instead of those items being sent to me as planned, the items were routed back to the distribution center inadvertently. I was further informed that I would receive a credit for the items that were not received and that if I still wanted the items not received, I would need to place a new order for the items that were not received. I informed the clerk that I still wanted the items not received and she told me that XXXX of the items was no longer available. She then proceeded to place a new order for the XXXX items that were never received ( minus the item that was no longer available ). The new order was placed under order number : XXXX. I was told that I would receive credit for XXXX items never received and that Macys would need to bill me again for the XXXX items on the new order. To date, my account still reflects a balance that includes the XXXX items never received XXXX the charges for the new order. As such I have paid for XXXX of the items from the old order XXXX and have also paid for the item that I was told was no longer available and never received. Each time I call Macy ‘s about my account, I am told that a credit back to my account for {0.00} is being processed, but even now, nearly XXXX months later the promised credit has not posted to my account. In the interim, I am being forced to pay interest on a balance that is more than my original order until the issue is resolved. Thus far, Macys has been unable to offer a resolution and each time I call they promise a resolution in another 7-15 business days just to get me off of the phone. I feel that Macy ‘s business practices are unlawful and unfair to consumers and would like to have the matter further investigated.
