Cant redeem the rewards cash into my bank account.
But the same account is there to make the payment When I called discover at around XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX central timeafter a wait of 13+ minutes XXXX told me that I need to first make a minimum payment from that bank account to this credit card then only I will be able to redeem to this bank account.
I told her that this card is at least 5+ yrs old and I am using the same bank account for around XXXX years so whats the problem all of a sudden?
Have you sent any communication or card member agreement or FYI to the customer regarding this issue?
Her answer customer will call us in case of any issue This is ridiculous.
This discover was providing chat in the past new messaging system is ridiculous.
They have taken away secure message center also Day by day Discovers standards are going down.
And more over I have two credit cards with discover I have always used the same bank account with the other card which was more active.
XXXX told me that we can do it over the phonewhen I wanted to do it over the phoneshe said I need to first pay the minimum balance first in order to redeem it.
During this pandemic – this credit card company is treating the customer so badly.
For this – this discover is getting XXXX XXXX customer satisfaction rewards or they are just bribing them to get this reward.

I had an account with Discover that had been closed for many years but still had a balance that I was paying every month. Then in XX/XX/2020 I received a statement for a balance of XXXX and I paid it in full on XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/2020 I checked my credit through XXXX, the bureau that my bank uses and it showed that my credit score had gone down because Discover had reported me as delinguent for not paying. I called Discover and spoke with a person who gave me her name as XXXX. She took the extra charges off and when I asked her if they would get with the credit bureau and take the false information off she checked with her supervisor and said they couldn’t do that and I would have to call the credit bureau myself. I then called XXXX and after quite a while I was connected to a person who said I would have to file a dispute with XXXX. None of this is my fault. I paid Discover in full the amount they said I owed on the statement and that should have been the end of it since the account had been closed for years. I have worked long and hard for my credit score and don’t appreciate this.

Discovercard has sent a letter threatening legal action with a deadline to respond to the threat of legal action. The deadline to respond is several days previous to the date the letter was generated, ( the letter shows the date it was generated ) and sent to myself via Priority Mail. I did not recieved the letter in the mail until 2 full weeks past the deadline in which they are threatening legal action against me. So I could have never responded to their deadline in the time they specify to avoid their legal action, and furthermore they generated the letter to inform me of legal action against me after a certain date, and literally didn’t even create the letter and/or inform me of the deadline until after the deadline was already past.
