I have been harassed by Midland Funding, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX CA XXXX ( XXXX ), on and off for several years. On XXXX XXXX, 2012 I sent them a letter asking for validation of a debt they claim I owe. They never responded to me, but instead put the debt on my credit report as their own debt, with a falsified Open Date.

I then sent them a letter demanding either proof of debt or removal from credit report. They ended up removing it. Now, XXXX years later I see it once again on my credit report. I am done talking to them, I now wish to file a public complaint and if they do not remove this from my credit files within XXXX days of today, I will file a lawsuit against Midland for several violations of the FDCPA over the last XXXX years.

I have never had an account with Midland Funding, and do not appreciate them popping up on my credit files every few years.

Asset Acceptance is a fraudulent company that has bought consumer information and falsely reports incorrect information to the credit bureaus. The number listed is for Midland Funding. When calling the number listed, Midland Funding states that they have bought Asset Acceptance and they do n’t show an account matching my social and name. Asset Acceptance has several numbers that goes to a voicemail and ask you to leave a message. The one time I did reach a live person, they said the computers are down. They do n’t have a physical address only a PO Box . I have NEVER received any correspondence via mail. The only contact has always been reporting on my credit and my efforts to track this company down. This company is a nightmare. I need to get this resolved and removed off my credit.

My wife received a phone call from the number I have linked to Midland Credit XXXX. They asked if they had reached me. My wife said no.

He continued by stating that ” this phone call is being recorded and was an attempt to collect a debt for XXXX XXXX. ” I know this is regarding my credit card debt with the store ‘s credit card, but it ‘s my business and legally not anyone else ‘s.

According to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, this is a clear violation of my rights and I want their case dropped because they should not share any of my personal information with other people.
