XXXX cancelled my debt and issued me a XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2010, just after I began a debt settlement plan. Since then, they have added interest and fees to the original amount due and are continuing to report the total amount as past due to the credit reporting bureaus, even though I was issued a XXXX and paid tax on the cancelled debt over 5 years ago.

I have a bankruptcy on my credit report ( XXXX ). The only credit reporting agency that would not agree to fix my issue was equifax. The bankruptcy was never discharged. My discharge was withheld for failure to submit certification of instructional course for personal financial management. The case is reporting in accurately. I have spoken to many people over the last 3 months including supervisors. I have also been transferred to the office of consumer affairs and spoke to the supervisor their also and still received the same issue. I spoke to the bankruptcy court and they verify what is being reported and say that my bankruptcy was not discharged. I have submitted over XXXX documents to prove my information is reporting inaccurately and im still dealing with issues.

I have requested my free annual credit report with Equifax and I included all their required information and documentation, using legible copies, but they have denied my request, stating my proof of identity does not match what they have on file. Then they ask for the SAME items I have already sent them.
They want a copy of my Soc Sec card AND a copy of my current driver ‘s license, both of which I have already sent.
