Good evening, My name is XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/2020 I made a purchase of furniture from XXXX XXXX located in XXXX NJ.
When I made this purchase I told the supervisor and XXXX ( a very good sales man bc Ingot convinced ) that I needed to check if this furniture would fit my house since it’s a small house. They said there was no problem to make the purchase now and to just call if it doesn’t fit to cancel and that there was no problem.
Since I bought it after the store closed I called them the very next day and spoke with XXXX and the supervisor, they said it was fine and that they will call me back. Since I didn’t receive a call back I kept calling them leaving a message ( they did not return my calls ) so I wrote them an email ( with no response ) I mention this bc I don’t know when the store made SYNCHRONY bank aware of the cancelation.
To make this story shorter.
When I received the first vpicemail from SYNCHRONY bank In XX/XX/2020 I called them and found out I had this debt.
I made the first dispute which they did respond ( only dispute they ever responded ) saying that my dispute was in in store ‘s favor. Since then I made several disputes and went to the store to get the PROOF OF CANCELATION FROM THE STORE which I sent to the credit card company which is SYNCHRONY bank via fax and I received a letter saying they received the letter.

I have made several disputes with no responses, I have called at least 35 times and spoke with different agents, supervirors and XXXX department with no response, one agent tells me to call the other department, when I call the other department they tell me to call the first department I called. Nobody is ever able to give me information and I have not received letters or information.
This has been going for 16 months. With no help, no advice. I asked them if they need the store to call them or to please tell me what they want me to do to resolve this issue, they said is under dispute and to just ” wait ”.
This past week I received a letter saying this debt is closed, when I called to ask what this means they said it meant this credit was sent to the credit bureau.
I feel this bank is just trying to buy time by telling me to just wait every time I call them I have received no help. I don’t know who to ask for help.

Attached is proof of the cancelation and the letter I received from the bank.
The cancel receipt states that THE STORE RETURNED THE MONEY TO SYNCHRONY BANK. ( On the right lower corner ) The store supervisor told me the store never received the money from SYNCHRONY Bank, he stated this bank is so bad they no longer to business with SYNCHRONY bank.

I opened an account and made one purchase at XXXX. I understood that I would receive a card and statement in the mail. I did receive the item purchased fairly quickly but waited to receive a statement. One did not arrive until XX/XX/2021, a full 3 months after the purchase and to date I have not received the credit card. Without the credit card or statement I did not have the account number nor the phone number to know how to contact the company. When I did receive the statement on XX/XX/2021 it indicated {0.00} total fees charged and interest charged of {.00}. The statement I receive does not indicate the item purchased or the amount of the purchase but based on simple math it would appear that the items purchased was {.00}.
I called to make a payment and to ask why I had not received a card or a statement prior to this date. I was told that the statements were paperless ( which I did not request ) and they only verified my address but had no response to my inquiry about the card. I have always paid my bills and would have done so with this company had I received any information. I did not find any emails and can only assume that they went to spam and eventually disappeared.
The representative do nothing to abate my concerns and told me they have now closed this account. I did pay all of the balance due on the account but can honestly say this is the worst experience I have ever had with a credit card company. Not only will I not use this company ever again, I will not be making any further purchases with XXXX since they are using this company.

On XX/XX/XXXX I received a collection notice from XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX trying to collect on an account listed as XXXX XXXX ( not kidding ) that somehow was attached to my name. The company was listed as having a physical address of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, NY. I checked on XXXX and it appears to be a storefront of sorts without much more heft. They listed an account from Synchrony Bank which I have never done business with and when looking for their physical address found four locations. Apparently they used to be GE consumer loans and their CEO XXXX XXXX left GE when it separated itself from GE. Synchrony apparently bought all of PayPal ‘s credit accounts but I have never used paypal either. There was no information as to what I had supposedly purchased, or when, or from whom and what makes this particularly absurd is that someone processed the account under the name XXXX XXXX XXXX When I was a XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX my signature was good for {000.00} and it would be appropriate for whoever committed the fraud that started this all off should have the balance charged against their signature. As a bonus, whoever accepted the account from Scynchrony Bank and XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX should also be billed for the amount as a penalty for not even bothering to read the name on the account. I have no idea how that got any of my personal information to link the account. I’ll leave that all up to you.

I financed my hXXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX, which was bought by Synchrony Bank. I called on XX/XX/2021 for the payoff to close the loan. I was told at that time, by XXXX, that the payoff amount was {00.00}. I sent the check on XX/XX/2021 and mailed it. I asked for a confirmation of the payoff.
I never received confirmation but on XX/XX/2021 I got a new bill for {0.00}. I called and talked to XXXX XXXX and was informed that it was interest up to the date of the bill dated XX/XX/2021.
This is the first correspondence I have received from them since it was paid off in XXXX.
I should have gotten a confirmation or a bill from them if there was a balance or interest accumulating for 5 months.
I have asked XXXX to return my calls but she will not. I feel that this credit company takes advantage of people and have no way to defend my credit against them.
