The FCRA requires the credit bureaus are required to block fradulent information from the credit report so that it can not be re-inserted irrespective of the creditor ‘s wishes. Transunion is reporting a collection item by XXXX XXXX that is not a validated debt. I have asked for this information from them but they will not provide it to me. They say they previously sent it to me but I have not received anything. In my recent complaint about them through consumer finance they said they sent me a notice in 2013, but I never received the notice and invoice they say they sent to me.
I am disputing this debt because I am not being given enough information to figure out what these charges are specifically for. I gave XXXX of XXXX XXXX the proper notice, letting them know I was moving at the end of XXXX of 2013. I believe they are trying to charge me for rent after we moved out. There should be no late fees because I provided notice. What is the misc Fee I? Why is there a Pest Charged Owed? Why am I being charged {0.00} for rent – for what time period? How is this being calculated? What is the prorata amount and how many days am I being charged for? Why is there a utility reimbursement for trash, sewer and water? Where is the proof that XXXX of XXXX XXXX assigned this collection item to XXXX XXXX? How did they verify with XXXX of XXXX XXXX that these charges are valid, legitimately owed, and properly calculated? Did they simply look at a statement and take it as face value? How do I know they are licensed to collect in the State of Ohio where I reside? They have n’t provided me with their license number and registered agent as I requested. I want this item removed from my credit report because it is an unvalidated debt.

My complaint is against the credit bureau Transunion. Several attempts have been made to all XXXX credit bureaus in an attempt to have a negative item removed. Transunion has failed to sign the receipt for certified mail, my letter has been returned to me by my local post office. I have sent them my request for Transunion to investigate my dispute by regular mail and have received no response.
They have repeatedly failed to properly investigate my dispute and I have provided more than enough documentation to prove my claim is true and accurate. Had Transunion seriously investigated my claim, they would have found the proof of the error is in the credit report itself.
In my credit report in the ” Closed Account ” section, there is an account with XXXX ‘s ( XXXX XXXX ). The information states ; ACCOUNT OPEN XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, LAST PAYMENT XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, CLOSED ON XXXX/XXXX/XXXX.
XXXX XXXX XXXX acquired the debt at some point and fraudulently re-aged the debt. On the credit report, they have FALSELY reported the following ; Account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), DATE OPEN XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, DATE OF FIRST DELIQUENCY XXXX, DATE OF FIRST MAJOR DELIQUENCY XXXX.
Transunion is in violation of several Federal Laws and has neglected to properly investigate my claim. From my understanding of Federal Law, Transunion is obligated to do the following ; Consumer reporting agencies must correct or delete inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information. Inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable information must be removed or corrected, usually within 30 days.
Consumer reporting agencies may not report outdated negative information. In most cases, a consumer reporting agency may not report negative information that is more than seven years old, or bankruptcies that are more than 10 years old.
You may seek damages from violators. If a consumer reporting agency, or, in some cases, a user of consumer reports or a furnisher of information to a consumer reporting agency violates the FCRA, you may be able to sue in state or federal court.

1. All XXXX agencies, XXXX, TransUnion & XXXX wrongfully report delayed payments to XXXX XXXX in 2013. I have sent official report from XXXX XXXX showing no late payments and they have not yet corrected this.
2. There is no logical reason for the credit agencies to make the credit score lower due to the number of inquiries into the account. This process is very detrimental to the consumer and there is zero logic to it. My credit scores should be adjusted accordingly and they should stop this process.
