USAA failed to put on their ” home ” page of their website that they cater to military personnel and their families when it comes to applying for credit cards. I input my personal information on their website only to be informed that I was not eligible because I was not of military background. I spoke with a representative and requested that they disregard my information as I found their website misleading she stated they have to keep it. I told her the website needed to state on the ” home ” page only military personnel and /or family members of military personnel are eligible to apply for a credit card. I want my information shredded and USAA to put on their home page who is eligible to apply for a credit card.

XXXX XXXX XXXX I was informed by email that my bank had excessive ATM withdrawal and Check deposits. They needed to call me and talk. ( ( Mind you all this happened in a time frame that I was sleeping and not realizing what was going on. ) ) When I called I was asked about it all and of course I was shocked.


Not only had someone gotten into my bank account, but they had also deposited a check and taken part of that.
I get the scams. I ‘ve read up on them now, and I can see why USAA would accuse me.
But after years of being with them and never having this happen … Its crazy.
I am living in XXXX and the situation happened in XXXX. It physically, within the time I was seen here and when it happened, could not happen.
I was in church Sunday from XXXX XXXX XXXX, and saw my XXXX XXXX at XXXX on Monday, and I was at work by XXXX XXXX Tuesday morning. By XXXX XXXX that Tuesday I was headed to the VA office.


I most certainly can get written statements from everyone if they want that.


I did n’t do this. I would never drain my account and scam myself. I do n’t even have anything to do with XXXX XXXX. I ‘m not that XXXX, nor did I need money.
I have great credit and not only take that seriously but I have always had a clean account and good standing with USAA.


At first they flat out asked me if I deposited a check for that amount.
I was so frustrated and humiliated by it I actually took offence to it.
They said Id be responsible for the Fraud check balance. ok ….?
I NEVER ERCIEVED A CHECK!! I never even had a check in my hands. Someone else did all this and I ‘m getting blamed. Its one of those freak incidents and yeah I ‘m just as baffled by it.
Again they did n’t and do n’t believe me or get it.


Today is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I got an email, ( no call or anything personal to let you now they actually tried ), and I was being held responsible for every penny. XXXX dollars.
So everything they had credited to my account considering what happened, they say they ‘re taking back. Not only the scammed check, but every penny that was mine.
Everything to my name.
Someone scammed me, and the bank is telling me I did it. I ‘m left penniless and I ‘m scared.
So if it happens again, I ‘ll get blamed. Again.
Do you think I want to keep banking with them after this?

I had a {00.00} secured credit card with USAA since XX/XX/XXXXNo late payments & perfect payment record. In XX/XX/XXXXI was overwhelmed by debt & filed for bankruptcy. Unknown to me my USAA account was included in the Bankruptcy. Shortly after filing USAA sent me a letter stating that my account was now closed with them.


I called them & asked what happens now. They told me that I owed them about {0.00} and they would subtract that amount from the {00.00} credit on the account & send me a check for about {00.00}. I waited for this refund XXXX thru XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I called them & spoke to a rep named XXXX & I asked what the delay was in me getting my refund. I was told that the exact amount of my refund was {00.00} and I would receive it in 3-5 business days.


That never happened & as of today XX/XX/XXXX it still has n’t happened. I have made over 20 calls to USAA & spoke to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX. No results. In desperation I paid {.00} on XX/XX/XXXX to overnight the CEO of USAA, XXXX XXXX pleading for my money. I spoke to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX & XXXX XXXX all from his office. XXXX assured me the ” check was in the mail ” onXX/XX/XXXX. As of this date XX/XX/XXXXit has not arrived, nor do I expect it to. What a disgraceful outfit.
