Full Complaint:
Beginning mid XXXX, I began noticing the same unauthorized charge of XXXX dollars and change on my account. The same charge would appear each month. Each month I would call USAA to dispute the charge and ask them to deny the ( obviously ) constant debit of my card. USAA could not prevent the activity on the card. In XX/XX/XXXX, I cancelled the card with USAA – having no faith in their protection of my privacy as a card holder. I shredded the credit card, and had no further problems until today ( XX/XX/XXXX ).
I received a bill from USAA on the CLOSED account – for the SAME fraudulent charge!
I called USAA and waited on the phone for over an hour and a half, and finally hung up.
USAA is definitely not able to rectify this problem.

In XX/XX/2018 my ex-wife was scammed by an individual who deposited fraudulent cashiers checks to her accounts. One of these account was our only remaining joint account, our 18 month old daughter ‘s youth savings account. USAA wrongfully took funds from my savings and checking totalling {00.00} and applied these to my ex-wife ‘s defrauded accounts as a ” right to offset ”. Upon further investigation and over 4 hours of total phone time between my ex-wife and myself, USAA admitted to their error and promised the funds applied to my ex-wife ‘s account would be put back in my accounts. It has been a week now and three phone calls later and I have yet to receive an update or response to this.
