USAA is not providing a way for consumers to close their credit card accounts. I tried unsuccessfully via their app, website, chat, secured message and via phone at XXXX. Even after calling on the phone, the phone representative told me she could not cancel the account and the team that could was unavailable. She would not provide me a direct number to that account.
