USAA Federal Savings Bank held a mortgage on property owned by my late father. I attempted to purchase the property from the estate, but the Satisfaction of Mortgage was defective, making title to the property uninsurable. I contacted USAA to correct the issue. USAA has refused to issue and record the correct Satisfaction of Mortgage.
