The vehicle was declared a total loss by USAA insurance and the insurance policy had gap coverage. The loan was thru USAA ‘s banking branch. They came up with an arbitrary figure of {.00} that was still owed on the vehicle. I disputed this multiple times due to the coverage I had on my auto. I did not pay the {.00} because it should not have been there with the coverage I had the loan should have been paid in full.

My son has a youth checking account with USAA. He was the victim of a crime and USAA ‘s policies contributed.
A scammer contacted my son on the internet and convinced him to deposit 2 checks for {00.00} each and transfer back a smaller amount using XXXX.
As a USAA account holder, my son was targeted for this scam. Scammers know that : 1 ) USAA provides immediate access to large sums of money via mobile check deposit ( other financial institutions give access only to {0.00} and wait 1 week for the rest ) 2 ) USAA ‘s youth spending limits are broken. USAA allowed my son to transfer out {00.00} to the scammer despite my setting a limit of {00.00}.

Ussa Bank has been holding funds in our account for over 5 mnts. Someone scammed my son and deposited a check that the account was closed. We talk to Ussa stated that my son got scammed and that there were no more pending deposits. they then stated that they would old money in the account in the amount of XXXX until they can ensure that no more transactions need to be covered. It has been well over 5 mnt with not other transaction in or out of the account and they will not release the money and close the account out. I have talked to them many times they would not let me speak to the review department. and they will not let me know when the money will be released. they stated they do not know and can not tell when my money will be released.
