Full Complaint:
In 2011 my wife and I took out a XXXX dollar HELOC loan to address some issues with the house we presently live in. The credit line was available for five years ; after which, it turns into an installment equity backed loan.

That has not happened. All 3 credit bureaus are still reporting the loan as a line of credit with available credit and balance. This is not correct and my credit score is being, adversely, affected. My total revolving credit line is incorrect, as well as, my total revolving balance.

The total credit limit listed is : XXXX Actual : XXXX Current Used : XXXX Actual : XXXX I was informed by the lending entity that this is just the way it is. This would suggest that it’s fine for lenders to provide incorrect information that affects future financing endeavors.

Company Official Name: UNITED SERVICES AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION

Product: Money transfer, virtual currency, or money service
Sub-Product: Check cashing service

Issue: Fraud or scam

Full Complaint:
On XX/XX/2021 a check was cashed against my account from a mobile deposit. The check is not mine nor do I have anything to do with it. The other person who was supposed to be removed from the account was the one who attempted to cash a {00.00} check using a bogus name and fake signature. She was paid {0.00} of that the check was returned and the bank is trying to hold me responsible. I sent backs a removal form to remove her, because she unfortunately makes bad choices and had bounced a large check against her old XXXX XXXX XXXX account. After discussing my concerns in depth before this happen access should have been blocked. This situation is a threat to my good name and credit and USAA is not disputing this transaction that was done against me. I repeatedly asked for USAA policy regarding scams or fraud and I could not get a straight answer. I am in disbelief that a bank would allow this type of illegal behavior.
