T-Mobile Complaint

We were with t mobile from Feb 2016 to Feb 2019. I used to have a family plan and I was the primary account holder. I asked t mobile to close my account in Feb 2019. We all came out except one friend who choose to stay with t mobile. He requested t mobile to change account responsibility and authority. They said it was done. Now, after 4 months t mobile sent me 9 hundred dollar bill for the phone and cell spot device that this friend owned with t mobile. We spent several hours with t mobile customer service and heard different versions. Both my friend and I do not agree with this 900 charges.
