We had an appointment on Saturday between 9:00 a.m and 12:00 p.m. to have our Direct TV installed at our residence. At approximately 9:39 the service installer called and left a voicemail stating he had a flat and was running late. At 9:53, I returned his call and he said he was leaving the tire shop, had to call another customer and would call me right back. I never received a call back and when I tried to call him back, he never answered. I had a funeral at 1:00 p.m. that I was expected to attend and had to miss because I was thinking he would show up late. At 4:00 p.m. I call AT&T and after being on the phone for 30 minutes of speaking with the representative we had to reschedule our installation which the earliest available time was 2 weeks out. Another day of lost wages because they failed to keep their appointment and no compensation.
