08/19/2019(0900cst): Online booking stalled 3(X), for a period of 30min, during payment info section. 3(X) repopulating same payment info in PAYMENT INFO section, then freeze page. After 30min, did not feel safe leaving payment info frozen in state without confirmation page to continue with payment. Contacted SPIRIT CUSTOMER SERVICE: Waited for live aid, but referred to more automation & to issue complaint ON-LINE! In frustration & limited time to complete my booking agenda, I booked with another carrier @ COST $860(R/T tix) + $120(baggage fees) with no problem! 5min after booking with different carrier, Spirit sent e-mail of Flight confirmation & payment received of $875! No confirmation to receive payment was ever achieved due to website issue @ booking. Spirit CS has refused to promptly refund after many e-mails, & remanded to CREDIT my account to next trip booking! Forcing me to allocate funds from my other sources to make up for my loss to SPIRIT & spoiling my engagements!
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem? (optional)
Refund all my charges, including my yearly membership for the hardship I have endured saving for my trip! Fix their security payment info protocol issues on their site. Better live CS reps & investigators(not in-house IT) that don’t understand what is going on & reading off a script, instead of thinking for themselves! Make better use of the automated responses, like really helping people!
