We booked a car rental from Canada over the phone on May 14 2019 for our stay in Italy (Rome), dates being May 26- May 30. Our estimated total was CAD$ 410.56, and it included Collision Damage Waiver,
Third Party Liability, and a child booster seat. However, when we arrived at the Avis location they told us the package we had reserved did not actually include the protections and although we tried to advise them that in fact our quote did specify it, they refused to accept this and charged us CAD$759.85. Additionally, Avis took 100 Euros as damage deposit, which to this day has not been returned to us. We have tried contacting them numerous times and supposedly an inquiry was opened but we never heard back.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem? (optional)
Billing correction to match quoted amount as well as returned damage deposit.
