ADT won’t let me cancel, overcharged me for product that wasn’t what i was promised

Have had ADT for more than 4 years. Due to them constantly raising their rates we asked to cancel. We were promised a reduced rate and upgraded system. Tech came out didn’t replace the sensors just a new panel. Sensors have not worked and go off various times of day and night. Tech returned the next day gave 2 batteries for sensors. Still having the same issues with other sensors including the ones replaced. Requested batteries they wanted to sell them. Replacement batteries didn’t fit. Asked for the correct ones was told they can only send the ones sent and to go out and buy our own or we can pay a tech $25 to come out and basically do nothing. Asked to cancel since we are paying to not be protected. Was told that it would cost $800 to cancel contract. So in other words ADT wants to keep nickel and diming us to not have protection. Why pay for service that cannot protect us and why pay for an upgrade and we are not adequately upgraded on with a partial product. The liability is on them if something happens because we are not protected. Remember any calls to ADT are recorded so they have the conversations

Cancel the service and refund money plus compensate for the constant aggravation of random sensor issues and lack of protection due to false promises
