Charter Spectrum customer service lied to me then charged me after I tried to cancel

Cancelled service, was told I would not owe any money. 2 days later I had a charge of $200. They said $120 was for equipment and $80.32 was for service fee since they had not received the equipment… once they receive the equipment all charges will be taken off my account. After 7 business days the $80.32 had not been taken off, but the $120 had. I called in, the supervisor apologized and had no idea why it hadn’t come off yet and the spectrum supervisor escalated the charge to their billing dept. After another 10 business days the charge had still not come off. I submitted as fraud to American Express.

Today I received a call from a collections agency for $80.32.
