TMobile Customer Service Lied to Me

In September of 2019 I switched from TMobile to Verizon. On the day I left I called to close out everything. I paid it all off and made sure the representative understood I desired to be free and clear of TMobile. She ssid the account was closed. Months later Tmobile billed me. I called. The rep said this is debt was for a phone that was not turned off and monthly charges continued. I asked if she could understand that I THOUGHT I’d closed everything out. The phone in question wasn’t being used. She understood and said she’d remove it. Whew £I was grateful. Months later Collections is after me. I apply for a PPP loan and I’m denied because of this issue.
