I had Century Link for several years. and the bill was never right I would call and spend at least an hour every time getting transferred to different people in different states. I was always promissed a different rate, sometimes a gift card. and never received the rate or the gift card. Finally in April 2018 I cancelled service, paid the balance, and returned the boxes as I was told. Then get a new bill saying I owed 200$ that eventually went to collections. I did pay it after they cut it in half just to get it off my credit history.
