Altice USA Customer Service Lied to Me

I was with Suddenlink for over a year and they suddenly increased my charges by 40 pct. I called to ask why and no one could explain to me the reason. When I asked for my account to be reviewed and to be allowed to take advantage of the new $59 for life pricing or any other discount, I was told that was only for new customers and I was not allowed any adjustments. I asked to cancel my service, but was transferred over to some contracting company that has a recording saying they aren’t open (at 2 pm EST). I feel like a hostage at this point because we have NO OTHER PROVIDER in my neighborhood and they won’t connect me with anyone to cancel my service.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem? (optional)
I want fair pricing as a customer in good standing. I shouldn’t be penalized and forced to pay exorbitant prices without warning or explanation.
