I have been a long time customer of AT&T but, one month ago decided I had taken all I could with this company due to constantly getting incorrect bills and having to be on the phone with customer service people that could care less really. I called them several times last month to try and get my Direct TV disconnected only to be ran from one wrong number to the next. I was on the phone for over 2 hours and never did get Direct TV. They kept connecting me to their cell representitives until finally I gave up out of total frustration and being worn out from the experience. Over the next couple days I called and finally got in touch with the Direct TV customer service they told me that I had now entered into the next billing cycle and would have to pay for another month and then on May 23 at the end of the billing cycle they would send me boxes to send back their equipment and give me 20 days to do that and if something gets screwed up there they will bill me several hundred dollars for their equipment. I called yesterday and they were very, very hateful with me and even after explaining that it was their fault that this wasn’t handled before the next billing cycle the lady said that the bill was accurate and I would have to pay or they would hound me for the over $100 for nothing, I mean I have been unhooked from them since April 23 and waiting for their box. This should be illegal and I want to see to it they are going to pay for what they have done to me.
