Santander Consumer USA Bad Customer Support

My husband and I have an Auto loan with Santander Consumer USA. We have been charge for late payments when we paid it ahead of the monthly due date. They try to take a second payment out for months that regular payment has already been made and turn around and charge you for non payment and returned check charges when we don’t even have checks with our choosen bank. We have tried to straighten these issues out with them but they refuse to admit to their mistakes and won’t take a payment unless this extra $200 for what they say we owe on top of our already $500 a month payments. We only get $1100 a month between us both which we can’t refinance because of the awful credit rating Santander is giving us. We bought the car to improve our credit and it’s ruined because of the Company now. Please help! Sincerely, Christina ********

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
We just want them to stop the way they do business. We need them to drop fragulent charges and fixed their system that clearly doesn’t communicate with their employees so they actually know what’s really going on.
