After receiving terrible customer service from numerous representatives who couldn’t answer simple questions regarding my interest rates I requested to speak with a supervisor. After being transferred to the supervisor my horrible customer service experience continued. At that point I requested a manager so I could file a complaint. She explained that it will take up to 72 hours to speak with a manager. Being that I’ve been at this point many times I asked her about my previous complaints and she explained that she couldn’t see details in my account about the previous complaints. She then advised me that she could put in a new complaint wherein I can wait to receive a call within 72 hours or call back tomorrow. I then suggested that she transfer me to the complaint department regarding my previous complaints however, she refused to do so claiming the complaints were closed. I explained to her that it wasn’t possible for my complaints to be closed wherein I never received correspondence from the complaint department. All in all this is a terrible company using underhanded tactics to defraud customers. I’m certain that I’m the victim of fraud and predatory lending by Santander.
