I had gotten behind on my car payment with Chrysler Capital which is apart of Santander. They placed a repossession out on my car I paid the past due amount in order to keep my car from being taken but Santander did not update my account they have my account listed as wrote off to bad debt but I still continue to pay them each month. Each time I ask them to update my account to reflect the correct balance they just send me a statement saying that it is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. I just won’t them to correct my account and correct these fees that I have no clue where they came from. After I paid my balance for the repossession I continued to receive calls telling me that I had a past due amount of $1500. I just need this issue resolved it is hurting my credit
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
Correct the balance on my account, remove the fees that are on there from what I don’t now and to correct there reporting to the credit bueruas
