Vivint Product Wasn’t What I Was Promised

we had just bought our home, and we were over there painting and cleaning before we moved in. The Vivint salesman came by on a Saturday. He said, “Did the Lender tell you to be expecting us?” leading me to believe their company had been referred by the mortgage lender.

I knew I needed an alarm system for my insurance so I thought I’d give them a try. But, we were not moving in yet. And the salesman did not tell me I had only 3 days to cancel if I didnt like it. We moved in 4 days later and i was having issues with their equipment not working, then i read the contract and found that if I wanted to cancel their service I only had three days and was already stuck with it, even though that was the first night we had slept in the house.

Vivint charged me $2,200 financed through a company that I didn’t even realize they had already put an inquiry on my credit report.
$2,200 for equipment and a Five year agreement. When ADT would have given me the equipment for free and only a 2 year agreement.

I wanted to cancel my Vivint service and give their equipment back. They did not tell me I had only three days, I was in here painting with plastic all over the floor and I told them we were not moving in until several days later.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
cancel service and return equipment so I can use ADT
