Applied for my very first car loan with Dutch miller Kia in 2017. I made about 8.00 an hour but needed reliable transportation to look for better work and to get around. The rep told me I would qualify by myself based off my credit score but if I got a co signer with a better score I’d be able to drive off the lot with a car. I called my mom who was then unemployed and she agreed to co sign. I was then approved for a 2017 Kia Rio with a monthly payment of 430. I accepted as I was desperate for transportation and had been getting declined previously with other companies. Months later I begin to default on the loan. I was spending all my money on car payments and even defaulted on insurance due to not being able to afford it. I was young and believed I was Coached Into this loan by the Dutch miller Kia representative and Santander. The car was later repossessed and sold. Only to come back with me still owing over 13.000. I never received any information on how they came to this remaining amount and I request validation of the debt and have not received anything.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
Remove the account from all credit reports and cancel the debt.
