Amazon Locked My Account

I had to replace my cell phone and was unable to access my account because I couldn’t verify my new phone. On that Amazon account I had nearly $40 worth of gift cards. I called customer service and was told there was nothing that could be done & I was out the $40 gift card balance.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
