Someone else has used my email address to open a PayPal account. (1) PayPal has not conducted proper verification. (2) PayPal has no proper mechanism to fix this on their website. I tried emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com but got ******** responses. I cannot login to file a complaint because this is a fraudulent account.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
(1) Remove my email address from the fraudulent account (2) In every verification email, also send a link to report an incorrect email address (3) Provide a mechanism to report this on your website without needing to log in, because I can’t.
