Brinks Home Security Claim for Compensation

What Brinks Home Security did:
Apparently Brinks bought Protect America in June of 2020. We were never notified about Protect America contracts were going to be taken over by Brinks without getting our Permission.

I called today and Brinks told me we still have 18 months in our monthly payments to complete a contract. We never have had a contract with Brinks. We want the billing to cease since we never agreed for Brinks to take over our account. We are currently being billing for $38.95 per month. I was told we must pay the rest of our contract for another 18 months to cease the agreement which was never with Brinks toitaling over $700.00.

I just checked my past emails an determined we were never notified about this change in our security system provider. If Brinks wanted to take over our contract at the very least we should have been notified and received new window stickers and yard signs from them and ask if we wanted their service. .
