What Lyft did:
On January 17th we took a brief Lyft ride in Washington, DC. We were overcharged for damage to a Lyft car. Two hours after the ride, we were sent an e-mail with photos depicting a minor scratch on a rear bumper and a stain on the back seat. We were hit with a charge of $150! There was no timestamp on the photos. Did not get a satisfactory explanation from Lyft via app or e-mail. We weren’t drinking anything in the back seat of the car. Even if we had caused the damage, it doesn’t look to be worth $150.
