My name is Ellen ******. I am an 87 year old senior.
The above is the beginning of my account with AT&T for internet service. Even as it started I experienced abuse on several levels and it was escalated to the presidents office in San Diego California. A supervisor named Mike took over the file. after a lengthy conversation he approved a reduced price package and got the paperwork going to get a service installer out to my home. Things went so well my daughter and grand daughter opened accounts across the valley. BUT after the first year it has been a total nightmare and I cold never get back to being in touch with the same supervisor on my account. Since 2017 my service is CONSTANTLY OUT. I have had service people out several times to check the line. on 2 occasions they were scheduled they were NO SHOWS. When I called in the last time the phone rep literally was accountable for elder abuse and said she didn’t have time to go further and disconnected me when I requested a supervisor. Once they said the modem was bad and changed that. I have to wait hours every time I call, and I get disconnected more times then I can count. Many times the frustration with customer service representative leaves me in tears they are often so mean and impatient. In the last two years we have had little to NO SERVICE. They say its fixed but it never works. They won’t credit for it being out. I have other people in my home that can testify there is never service. I have roommates as a rule but have actually lost 2 because of no internet. I am just at the end of my rope. I do believe they have dialed down or Toggled my internet. For whatever reason I have paid for service they did not provide for years. I have reported, and I have had repair but it never works. I am demanding $2500.00 to cover non service for what would be at least 2 years of payments out of 4 1/2 as a customer. Also damages of my time, and 20 % of any agreed settlement for my legal fees.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
