What AT&T did:
I transferred my service over and was continually billed for a phone not in service with provider. I received a bill balanced of $935.55 and most of the balance reflects the phone being financed. I spoke with someone on customer service before Fall last year and was told I would receive a box to send the phone back in. I never received a box but continued to receive bills about the service.
