What DirecTV did:
I recieved a call from direct a promotion.They said Best Buy was promoting with direct tv/ att
And we could go purchase a Best Buy gift card. To put 210.00
On it . With promotion we wouldn’t recieve a bill for 3 months. And our bill go doen to 69.99 per month there after. Along with 3 months of movie channels. So when all was said and done. It would take up to 24 hrs . If any problem call them back. I did call them back tryed on saturday no answer. So i called the other numbber for tech problems. And they said i havent paid nothin. I have the gift card with zero balance . I have the card board it came in . i also have the reciept. I tryed 5 to 6 calls even with supervizer. I tryed to give them the phone number and confirmation number. And the code for promo.
But they kept cuttng me off and saying NO NO NO We dont take gift cards. They dont know anything about this promo. When i call promo number its got same tune of music . and. A computer telling me to give account number or phone number. Its just never seemed wrong ive had promos call before went great then. But now im loiseing tv and my account. Cause i dont have another 120.00 for my months bill. Im upset. Cause im out 210.00 and direct tv wont listen to me. They say call them back with payment. Until i found out about fair shake. I pray this helps. Even when i called to do a move. I told them my. New modular home is brand new . do not put no equipment on my roof. When i made my order to move. Once again they didnt listen.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
I want my bill for direct tv show paid 210.00 and turn my tv back on. Plz. We have been with them over 10 yrs. And since they knew this was happining to their customers and didnt warn us. I should get the promo i was offered like always did before .2 yrs at 69.99 after the 3 months.
This happened last friday March 1st 2021.
