What AT&T did:
AT&T has charged me a $650 fee for an ‘unreturned device’ which is an incorrect charge – I sent back the device in the mail in November 2020 [4 months ago] which was lost in transit by USPS, but AT&T agreed I am not responsible [very important!]. I have in writing that AT&T made a mistake on billing me the $650 and I call them every week (2+ hrs of my time) to remove the charge, and they claim that they have “escalated” but the bill keeps appearing – I just received a service shutoff warning last week and the bill remains “past due”. I have proof that I sent the device in the mail (USPS tracking # **** **** **** **** **** **) and have an email from AT&T saying – “do not pay this bill” so we definitely have evidence that they messed up. I can send screenshots + emails, and can outline the details more as needed. I need my AT&T balance zero’ed out ASAP. I’m at the end of my rope!
