What DirecTV did:
YOUR AGENT TALKED ME INTO BUYING A NEW SMART TV SO I COULD WATCH DIRECT TV C BAND. ALSO SHE CONVINCED ME TO SUBSCRIBE FOR $10 MONTH TO YOUR “C” BAND SERVICE SO I COULD SEE THE MOVIES BETTER. I AM 80 YEARS OLD AND AM BLIND IN THE RIGHT EYE AND HAVE POOR VISION IN THE LEFT. I WAS ASSURED THE C AND 1080i WOULD ENABLE ME TO SEE MUCH BETTER.
I BOUGHT THE NEW TV AND SUBSCRIBED TO THE HIGHER C BAND DEFINITION OPTION.
A NEW HIGHER DEFINITION MODIUM WAS INSTALLED. I THEN WAITED. FINALLY MOVIES AT THE HIGHER DEFINITION WERE OFFERD BUT WITH A TINY DOLLAR SIGN NEAR THEM. WHEN I CLICKED ON THEM , NOT REALIZING THE DOLLAR $ WAS TO REQUIRE A HIGH DEF SUBSCRIBER TO PAY MORE THAN THE $10 A MONTH, A CLICED ON THE TITLE AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $21.95 TO WATCH A 30 YEAR OLD MOVIE. I FEEL THAT I HAVE BEEN DEFRAUDED AND AM ENTITLED TO FREE VIEWING OF HIGH DEF C BAND MOVIES.
