Vivint Overcharged Me / Hidden Fees

What Vivint did:
I had to fight with Vivint for months in order to remove a $1300 loan increase that was tacked onto my loan. The sales person and installer lied about a few aspects of the system to get me to purchase. It did not work at all the way they promised, and found out they also lied about my internet speed being enough for the system. I tried to return some of the useless equipment after a couple of weeks and was told I couldn’t because it was passed three days. They’re now allowing me out of the loan and contract as BBB fought on my behalf. This company is a scam, and their sales people routinely lie about the products.

What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
I want them held accountable for their sales practices and I would like to be compensated for the HOURS and months I’ve spent on the phone trying to fix the issues caused by illegal sales practices. I was put off, given different stories by different customer support people, and only got the loan changed when I threatened to get a lawyer through BBB. Now they’re letting me out of the contract, but I want the money back I did pay towards the equipment and compensation for the fact that the scam has been a cloud over my head for months.
