What Netspend did:
I had gotten my debit card stuck in the ATM at PNC Bank earlier today around 1015am or so. After talking with the bank and finding out that there was nothing they could do to return my card, I proceeded to call Netspend and asked if there was a way that I could have immediate access to my funds. Net spend allowed me to talk to a Supervisor whose name I did not get; she advised me that she could send my remaining balance of 1065.69 through MoneyGram and it should be available to me within 15 minutes. I was unable to pick up my funds at the MoneyGram Center d/t to the customer service agent stating” This reference number(69661979) is showing that the funds have been returned to the sender(Netspend), and she informed me that I needed to contact Netspend and see why my funds where returned. I went back and forth calling Netspend and MoneyGram. I received no information about where my funds were. I of course became very frustrated as My family and I have nothing at all without my funds, and that of course led me to filing a grievance/fraud report because no one knew where my funds were and I found that to be very odd. I was hoping to get my funds immediately and I can maybe get a Netspend card and get the funds transferred by 6/4, and the fraud case can be discontinued. I will be filing a police report and talking to a lawyer if this issue is not resolved today. The NetSpend reps continue to hang up on me as well.
