AT&T Claim for Compensation

What AT&T did:
AT&T Authorized “overpayment refunds” From some random person that had access to my phone while I was taking care of legal affairs. (Incarcerated for 3wks.) Not only that, they allowed the refunds for payments that were made fraudulently from a random card that was placed onto my account and saved for future billing. NOW, I’m finally home. Go for my phone and it is stuck on some type of boot mode and couldn’t be activated. Contacting customer service wouldn’t help because after the payments were dinged for fraud remind you .. they already sent over 700$ in cash debit refunds to a card i don’t own. Mind you, those payments the ended up using for the refunds they issued can’t get the phone to work. The phone is leased. They won’t give me my money nor offer me any services to fix the phone. Now as my credit score drops over 46 points and is still dropping

My internet goes out at least 2x to 3x a week, for the past 6 months. I have got an replacement box. They got me to buy an extender. I have had technicians here to fix “the problem “. I’ve even talked to a supervisor who just brushed me off.

I want to change internet companies but I can’t afford to pay to change companies

I paid for two pro max apple phones 2400$ that could not be unlocked to another service provider. They made false promises about my deductible and overcharged me tremendously for my bill. I was promised a Apple Watch for spending 2400$ on two apple pro max the newest phones out and was promised no more than a 25$ deductible if I added insurance coverage on unlimited use accounts.

Went to the AT&T store in Dyersburg Tennessee while traveling to Florida from Missouri to get service for me and my fiancee. Apparently my fiance couldn’t get service so I decided to put it in my name. The agent asked for my ID and quoted us a plan as followed: $65 for 2 lines (after Auto pay $60), Unlimited Talk, Text, and Web, 25gigs of Hotspot Data for each device. Also ordered 2 Iphone SE 2020 and never received them. Brought our own phones over until we received our phones from AT&T. Called the next day because of network and call problems and was made aware of my bill was $247.84 A DAY LATER!!! The bill NOW is $176.98. I am not paying that because I was lied to and deceived about my plans and the pricing and on top of that the service has been really HORRIBLE!!!!! I have my fiancee as a witness and have attempted multiple of times to reach the manager of that particular store and have had no call backs. I’ve even called AT&T 3 times to work out the issues of my services, honor the pricing quoted at store, and have our phones delivered as promised by the agents at the store.

We are still wanting our Iphone SE 2020 that was supposed to been shipped when we signed up for service. We paid nothing so we didn’t have a receipt or anything. We brought our own phones because we were traveling to Florida from Missouri.

My husband and I decided to update our iPhones to the 11 pro max. We did ours and our daughters. My son had an iPhone 6 that he was fine with. The salesman said if we started a new line that we would get an iPhone of equal or less price for FREE, that it takes roughly 3 months for it to adjust. After 3 months we was still being billed. 6 months still being billed. I went to the manager of several stores. They could see where it should have been free but couldn’t get it worked out. Then covid happened. Needless to say we are still be billed for the phone that was suppose to be FREE. If it wasn’t going to be free we would not have gotten my son the new phone at that time.

I am being charged $99 for a charge that is not valid. It was for an internet tech visit where I was only supposed to be charged If the issue was NOT due to an AT&T service or equipment issue. The tech determined it WAS an equipment issue and told me i won’t be charged. It still ended up on my bill. No one at the company will help me due to their customer service layout.

Was a customer for att for almost 4 years. Got some items from them and paid for them thru settlement offer to ensure I took care of whatever money that I owed them. This action was taken care of in April of 2020 and no longer was a customer of theirs but looking at my credit they have negative information saying it was written off when in actuality it was agreed upon between myself and att to settle for a lesser amount.

Please report accurate and positive information to all 3 credit bureaus

Ive tried calling and going in store and everyone basically gets irritated and tells me they can’t help me and it just feels like im being completely tooken advantage of . With covid going on i cannot afford to pat double sometimes triple the ammount that i agreed to pay a month , it’s completely ridiculous that my phone bill is as high as a car note

After meeting a sales rep for AT&T inside a local Walmart, he talked me into getting AT&T by comparing my Comcast and showing a lower rate. On that day the guy said only a $22.60 fee will be charged however it was charged twice. The guy said he would put in for a refund, ok no biggie. He explained the equipments will be shipped to me and is self set up. I received the equipments but was unable to set up by myself. I called the guy and he tried walking me through the process. That failed so he said he’ll have a tech come out on Monday. Monday came and went 2 times. I then texted him and told him I am going to cancel the services and return the stuff. He said no don’t bit by the time he replied I was already on the ph with customer service and requested a cancellation. Bare in mind nothing was activated. The lady I spoke with said she was going to have them return whatever fee was charged and for me not to her any additional charges was to return equipments by given dates. I did just that and has my receipts. A few weeks went by and I checked my credit card statements only to see over $400 charged I tried disputing with the Cc company who gave me the money then took it back stating they provided info. I did not even get the chance to send in my papers. Because I went out of town when they were sent a by the time I got back the date passed which I still submitted to my CC company but they had already took the money back. These fees they charged me should not have been since the service was never activated and I explained this. It is very hard to loose that much money in a pandemic.
