T-Mobile Claim for Compensation

T-Mobile Claim for Compensation

What T-Mobile did:
Hello, my name is Jay and I’ve been a customer with T-mobile since Dec 2017. T-mobile informed me through their official number on Friday, 08/20, that my personal information has been compromised. They state they have no information that indicates my SSN, payment info, financial information has been accessed. They say that they take the protection of their customers serious but clearly they do not.

I need the company to do a better job in protecting my SSN, payment information, drivers license # and identity

What T-Mobile did:
Since I’ve been with t-mobile I’ve had to endure an odd amount of hacking. My first bank account with Chase bank lost over $900 in 6 months. I closed that account but the hacking continued getting upwards of -$834. When I opened the next 3 accounts all different banks, the hacking continued. In October of 2019, my cell ended up loosing all service abruptly with my data plan changing to some odd non-T-Mobile plan. Finally I was able to get through to someone from T-Mobile. The issue became escalated to where I was told to notify Apple, the company of my phone, that my phone was sending out data somewhere but T-Mobile was unable to tell where. Since then, the hacking continued.. all through COVID and 2020.

I would like compensation for the stress/paranoia I’ve had to endure during COVID. I would also like to have the money I’ve lost through hacking and the negative balance I’m now forced to have to pay off due to hacking from my old chase bank account.

T-Mobile had sent me a message stating that I was affected in the current data breach 2021. They are unsure on how much of my information was compromised and my phone has been acting very funny. My cellular data keeps turning off and I’m not getting text messages or phone calls.

I would like to file a class action lawsuit/lawsuit against T-Mobile because of my information being compromised and a part of the 2021 data breach

They always over charged me and lied about upgrades, and added things to my bill without my permission. I always had to call and argue with them
Because my bill would always be different. Each cycle and they would scam me with the phones and say oh your balance is clear and now there’s a 4K bill from
Them.

T-Mobile has compromise my personal information including my credit ,my address ,my phone number and other personal information. The breach happened on the 17th of August and I found out due to social media.the company themselves didn’t put out a statement until 2 days later on the 19th of august . Which regarded a blanket statement that they had a breach and that it was our responsibility to change passwords and protect our credit.

I participated in the iphone 12 bogo promo deal. I had a fully paid off iphone 11, and did the deal. I was told by the customer rep in store that i had to give them my old phone to receive my new one. When doing so i would receive credits towards my phone and have to pay off the other one. 2 months after i was still paying off two phones. I called the tmobile hotline and was told by the rep that the store employee really ripped me off. I was signed up for one program where i was leasing two phones. Im suppose to be on the program where it showed i traded in my phone for value and used it towards my new phone. The in store rep also gave my phone a different value. On the current promotion it said my phone was worth $850+, he told me the same thing. When I returned to the store, as told to do so by phone rep and upper management to try to resolve problems. And the value was wayy lower then what i was told originally and the issue was never resolved. I was also told by the phone rep and manger that the store rep shouldve A) let me keep me previous iphone 11 and lease both phones or B) traded my phone and only lease one phone so the other with take effect in the promo. Its been 4 or 5 months now and im still paying on both phones and dont have my old phone. Tmobile said they would get back to me. But ive gotten was 100 credit on a $1000+ Ok phone, no answers for my previous phone, and no call backs on what happened to my claim or store.

I would like my iphone 11 back.

What T-Mobile did:
In November 2020 they told us we could get the Tmobile Home Internet service at our address. Over the course of months we complained if not getting better than 2 bars and inconsistent service. Aug 18, 2021 were told by a honme Internet person we are in a no service area and we are not going to get reliable service. Tmobile sold us and took our money plus sold us their TVISION and we were never going to get what we were paying for. They kept saying they would send a tech our and we changed out modems several times. Since November we payed for a service we were not getting and going to get. We were scammed and scammed to get their TVISION and box to work it. We are on disability so every penny counts and paying for a severe we weren’t getting. With equipment and service charges we were taken for easily over $700 not included the numerous hours wasted trying to fix a problem that was never going to be fixed and gas back and forth to store.

My data has been breached an used and I think it’s been happening for awhile. I don’t use my data unless I’m out and for some reason it’s been really low. I’m scared someone out there ha gotten my information. I know it’s not the best but people out here can do anything. They might now where I stay, work, can be watching me now. I’m just scared and would like this fixed. I’m scared togo out knowing someone knows everything about me and even my family who is on my plan.

I had no idea of the breach of their company for one! They should have made it a MANDATORY thing to send a notification to every T-Mobile customer when they found out. Before I even found out I had to freeze my credit (this was after the breach) because I got a notification from my Experian that my identity was used to apply for a capitol one credit card and or account. I’ve yet to even know if they succeeded or not but they successfully got my report through I saw it on my Experian. I froze it then I had to hear about this breach from literally passing by a complete stranger on the street. I’m a busy person I don’t have my face in my phone nor the internet so when I saw the BREACH I was pretty upset.

What T-Mobile did:
On 8-19-2021 I received a text from Sprint stating my data was lost in T-Mobiles most recent breech. Thus far I have suffered no financial loss but that will change as the data lost has a huge value, after all, they make money by selling only part of what was stolen it to third parties. Therefore I believe I’m entitled to whatever money they make or have made from my data as well and that applies to Sprint as well since I could not avoid Sprint turning my data over to T-Mobile. Also, a portion of the funds they’ve saved by not implimenting those security measures that would have kept my data safe. Two years of credit monitoring is pathetically inadequate and I have no desire to join a class action that will pay me $5. This will cause huge problems going forward and TMobile should be fired to pay for their neglegence

It’s difficult, if not impossible, for the average consumer to ascertain the value of that information that identifies them everywhere, for life. Itt could amount to nothing or could cause irreparable harm to themselves and their family. But there is value to it.
