What Expedia did:
I booked and paid for car rental service through Expedia i was charged and paid for the rental. When i arrived at the car rental place to pick up the car i was told to give them my card again and when i did so even after i told them i paid for it already through Expedia they said i still have to have it on file. They then told me my debit card wont work and i needed a credit card to proceed i dont have one as i told them and they told me i could not get the car due to that. I asked for a refund and they told me to contact Expedia for my refund. I did the same day and i was told i have to wait 10 day for them to contact the car rental company for the refund. I recieved a emial yesterday from Expedia stating that green motion car rental denied my refund. And expedia will not give me my refund either. I’ve been begging my refund sense august 16th from both companys and no one wants to hold up to the promise on the websites saying money back guarantee

What Expedia did:
I paid 2 itineraries with Expedia, one for the trip and one for the hotel, both with extra insurance to cover all probable issues.

So I did have a delay on a plane that cause us to miss the next plane and be rebooked for the next day.

That caused me to miss my hotel stay at destination, since I missed the flight, and also all the expenses that I had to pay from my own pocket, extra hotel at stayover location, pay for luggage once again, pay food and pay another hotel at destination.
Also missing my car rental agreement with fair pricing and having to rebook for higher pricing for same things.

Overall I lost around $1,500 for extra expenses due to flight delay and rebooking, and Expedia did not want to refund and they closed my claim by sending me fraction of $150!!!

I feel scammed to the core and Expedia stealing my money by not wanting to refund knowing I had insurance through them and paid all this via them
